ARISTOTLE

Aristotle's Poetics:-

1)How far do you agree with Plato’s objection to freedom of expression and artistic liberty enjoyed by creative writers? Name the texts.
I disagree with Plato's objection and agree with Aristotelian point of view and I do not  think any piece  of art should  banned.

2) With reference to the literary texts you have studied during B.A. programme, write brief note on the texts which followed Aristotelian literary tradition.
➤   I am agree with Aristotelian objection because in Tughlaq  we can see that the audience show the hero’s great tragedy ,catharsis, Hamartia. So I am agree Aristotelian concept of literary tradition.

3) With reference to the literary texts you have studies during B.A. programme, write brief note on the texts which did NOT follow Aristotelian literary tradition.
With reference to the literary texts I have studied during B.A. and which has not followed the Aristotelian tradition that is “Bluest Eyes”- by Toni Morrison. In this novel there seems ‘concept of tragedy and catharsis but there is lake of hamartia’.

4) Have you studied any tragedies during B.A. programme? Who was/were the tragic protagonist/s in those tragedies? What was their ‘hamartia’?
I have studied the 'Hairy Ape' written by Eugene O'Neill, which follow the Aristotle we can find that at initial state the hero of this play In this play hero Yank was very happy because of his sense is belongingness, but this excess sense cause him to the Death.

5) Did the ‘Plot’ of those tragedies follow necessary rules and regulations proposed by Aristotle?
➤ If we conclude all things one way plato's objection is right other way Aristotle views are right because, now a days people want to freedom and to live creative life they do not feel for moral life or immoral life.
