Post – Viewing Tasks:-

1) How faithful is the movie to the original play?
This movie's dialogue and thoughts are relate to the original play  that's why it's faithful.

 2)  After watching the movie, have your perception about play, characters or situations             changed?
Hamlet's character is more powerful and attractive, we observe his apparent madness and after watching     movie there is the most clear picture's of character and situations of play is clear and done.

3) Do you feel ‘aesthetic delight’ while watching the movie? If yes, exactly when did it happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?
We feel aesthetic delight in this because literature give us delight that we can not explain in words and like as he know about philosophy of life.

4) Do you feel ‘catharsis’ while or after watching movie? If yes, exactly when did it happen? If no, can you explain with reasons?
It's "catharsis" after than Ophelia and hamlet dead. hamlet take a wrong decision of the take revenge of his father it's responsible of his downfall.

5) Does screening of movie help you in better understanding of the play?
In the movie the whole things better represent scene, dialogues and importants of characters so it's can be easily to understand. that's why movie is a better than the original play for understanding.

6) Was there any particular scene or moment in the movie that you will cherish lifetime?
 Quiz on Hamlet
In this movie many scenes are most cherished and beautiful and of this scene Ophelia's madness is one of   them.

7)  If you are director, what changes would you like to make in the remaking of movie on Shakespeare’s ‘Hamlet’?
If i directer, i never change hamlet's character in any situation because his behaviour in this character create the whole tragedy and all characters belong to this arrival.

8) In the beginning of the movie, camera rolls over the statue of King Hamlet out side the Elsinore castle. The movie ends with the similar sequence wherein the statue of the King Hamlet is hammered down to the dust. What sort of symbolism do you read in this? (Clue: In Book IX of 'Paradise Lost', Satan reflects on his revenge motive:       "But what will not ambition and revenge; Descend to? Who aspires must down as low; As high he soared, obnoxious, first or last, To basest things.Revenge, at first though sweet, Bitter ere long back on itself recoils." Is it not King Hamlet's ambition to avenge his death responsible for the downfall of his kingdom which is symbolically pictured in last scenes?)
The beginning and ending in similarity was the focus on statue and it's show to evil is always died,it was evil power that hummer down to the dust.

9) While studying the play through movie, which approach do you find more applicable to the play? Why? Give reasons with illustrations.
We observe many approaches in one and other way,but we find that psychological approach more important for the play because hamlet fight with his own self.

10) Which of the above mentioned approaches (in Pre-viewing task) appeals you more than other? Why? Give reasons.
In above i mention "Feminist Approach"in this play. The two character are Gertrude and Ophelia both are victim of mail dominated
society, specially suffering of Ophelia's character.
