Oneness of literature

Oneness of literature

Northrop Frey's theory of archetypal criticism based on whole literature has oneness of existence and all literature shares common DNA or Skeleton.

T. S. Eliot cover Various topics in 'The Wasteland'. The poem have also deeper meaning. Poets work have maximum influences which is the reflection of writers past.

A joke by Anton Chekhov it's also show the same structure of story, only name of characters has been changed. It has also same theme of the sexual perversion. And it's belonging also a feminist point of view. In A Joke for Nadiya the four magivam words become her reason of happiness. Here both of stories shown that woman are weak and under power of the man some of the line in a deep meaning, it's show superiority of Man upon the woman. Both stories theme reflects of sexual perversion. So it's one or another way connected with all point of literature. And it's shown good, bad and also belong to human nature and conditions. In the wasteland we can also find sexual perversion. In the story woman shows courage and strength in their relations.

Design Poem by Frost

Design Poem by Robert Frost...

➥ The poem begins with a simple set up, the first three lines introduce us to the maum characters. We have a nih white spider on a white flower, period to eat a white moth. But that's the crucial 'If' of the last time: if design does govern these small things.

One of the most difficult poem design, an Italian sonnet by Robert Frost was published in 'A further Range' in 1936. Is the expression of the poet's mysterious existence of the world surrounded by omens and evil design.

It's explorese the noyinn that nature and the whole universe is designed by a malevolent intelligence. It's based on the everyday observation of spider on a floeef holding up a dead moth but essentially the poem is playing around with theological argument.

This poem of finding evil in innocence, a somg of experience though the voice is hardly that of Blake's child-like singers the joking fiscobery develops gradually through series of contradictory picture.

'A white heal all' suggests purity and safety thouht the Color echoes the white of the swollen spider.

At the end design suggests for a temperament as willful and feisty. As frost's the occasional sense of the potential hostility and violence of the physical world, such as we see in "A loose mountain", "Once by the Pacific" and the first thirteen lines of design is ultimately less appalling than the threat of emptiness or indifference in this poem Design.

Interpretation Challenge Breath

Interpretation of Challenge Breath

➤ This play concern with the concept of absurdity and existentialism.

We can interpret in this video nothingness in the life. Why we live and what is the aim of behind the life and our journey. Nothing without the death. Our journey start up wifh born and end up with death. In this video many things expressed by Garbage and nothingness by their unusual things. But during this time we can live between the depth of our wishes, desire and aim. So sometimes we can feel meaningless and nothingness in our life. At the end what we can do when our death happen Nothing..!

We all are live as a habit of routine. We have habit to breathing and wish to success in our mind has habit to think about various things so one or another we can live with our habits and follow some things which going on and itsi really need to live a life with a breath and here existentialism theory exist in this sense of what is meaning and purpose of our life. It's matter with our existence. We are here and born on the earth and feeling about our lives in absurdity, nothingness and meaningless. But we can't find the reason and also answer behind this why we are exist and for whom we are alive and what's aim behind this everythings....!

                                                       Thank You..!

Orientalism

Thinking Activity On Orientalism:-

According to Edward Said's views on Orientalism...

1) Edward said on Orientalism tries to answer of this question, think about the middle East and notion of the what kind of people live there time, what they believe, what there civilization and how they act..

2) Orientalism create an image of outside history which means something is there who still and eternal. Which is direct and simply clarified the reality and factness of history.

3) In this video talk about contribution of how can we understand general process of what we could call stereotyping has by immense in these senses.

4) According to Edward said, Culture and the history must studied for knowing literature of any countries. Orientalism is an discourse which is a regulated system of producing knowledge.

5)  This video interpret is that, Orientalism is in effect the difference between experiences as what is called the Orient. Difference between Britain and France on the hand and United States on others like that British, french colonies in the Orient. The book speak about history reserves in us our own history.

Existentialism

* This blog is a part of Flipped Learning about the existentialism.

1) Existentialism made up with this tri-angel of individuality, Passion and freedom. Camus give argue against the sentence "Believing in God is a philosophical suicide.

2) Camus discuss in this video about the what is meaning of life. Why one committed suicide because they people thought that nothing for living. But he says about that this sentence 'An elegant suicide is the ultimate work of art'.

3) This video about the myth of Sisyphus. Campus says that existential attitude is philosophical suicide reason is useless and there is nothing beyond reason. The absurdity is everything which is acceptable of death.

4) Ball's point " I don't want the words that other people have invented" It is existing rule and values. Dadaism express the views of self thinking and aware your mind to questioning for that others have created.

5)Nihilism and existentialism both are opposite and existentialism is respon to this emptiness. After world war people seems to life as meaningless and field with despair. Existentialism anxiety, despair, absurdity is gloomy philosophy.

6) Existentialism fought against the nihilism. Nietzsche, nihilism means the highest values devalues for themselves and kikerkegarrd, "Nihilism can be defined as the lost of an individuality".

7) In this video existentialist shared human condition. Whatever happened with us it's what we are doing and what is our decision it's depended for this thibgs and only we are responsible for tgat so self gathering effected in this perception.

8) In this video we can see that the perception of self recognition. We vca make our personal view apply thoughts and rules. Do not follow and believe in made up rules.

9) Nietzsche call Ubermensch. It means that superman it seems like you do whatever he wants. We can make our own rules.

10) Which video you like most and why?
~ I like first video, because individuality freedom and passion three words base of existentialism. It's the best concept for understanding.

11) How would you describe learning outcome about this activity.
~ Yes, we can much more understand by the flipped learning. This activity more helpful to understand any topic. It's creative activity for students to listen video and interpret them thoughts.

                                         Thank You.

Waiting For Godot

Thinking Activity:-

1) What connection do you see in the setting ("A country road, A tree evening) of the play and these paintings ?
➨ In the play a country road symbolize desire and go for it and it's connection. The tree evening symbolize that slowly and steadily something will be happened and it's growing on at this time. So that is the setting of the play in the beginning.

2) The tree is the only important thing in the setting. What is the importance of tree in both acts? Why does Beckett grow a few leaves in act ll on the barren tree.
➨ In the first act there is no leaves on the tree but in the second act there is a three or four leaves on the tree. It's shows here hope for Godot will come soon and hope for new life.

3) In both acts, evening falls into night and moon rises. How would you like to interpret this coming of night and moon. When actually they are waiting for Godot?
➨In that perception we can say that evening falls into night means their obsession and desire, waiting. It's fall in darkness, who symbolize the night and when moon rise, it's symbolize in the play when a boy comes their desire once again rise with waiting for Godot.

5) The play begins with the dialogue" Nothing to be done". How does the theme of nothingness recurs in the play?
➨'Nothing to be done'. It's the really appropriate line for the whole play. Because in the play we can see absurdity, nothingness, hopeless, helpless and they can only waiting Nothing do that's why in the play occurs only absurdity, nothingness and shown meaningless things who show also meaning some way.

6)Do you agree:- " The play waiting for Godot, we agreed, was a positive play, not negative, not pessimistic. As I saw it, with
My blood and skin and eyes, the philosophy is: ''No matter what- atom bombs, hydrogen bombs, anything-life goes on. You can kill yourself, but you can't kill life". How are the props like hat and boots used in the play? What is the symbolical significance of these props?
➨ We can see that waiting for Godot is positive or nagative. It's not quite clear, not throw much light on the meaning of the play. There is something in the play as a philosophical way. In this play characters are inner conflict and suffering and think to killing themselves.

7) How are the props like hat and boot used in the play? What is the symbolical significance of these props?

➨ Such a many time Vladimir and Estragon right or wrong unlike hat and boots symbolise in one way. Hat thinks for the meaning of life and boots symbolise struggle for the life and desire.

8) Who according to you is Godot? God? An object of desire? Death? Goal? Success or...
➨ AcciAccor to my point Godot is also death and desire for anything and hope from God and Godot will never come . It will be depth of desire and Death. So god is an object as a desire and also for death.

9) The subject of the play is not Godot but "Waiting" Do you agree? How can you justify your answer?
➨ Subject of the play is not Godot but it's waiting. Because there is no rising up and any action without that nothingness and hope. Character of the play passing time and just think about suicide it's shown nothing and meaningless life. They thought Godot will come and fulfill their wishes means depends on Godot..imaginations of them and depends on other, and killing time so, play's subjectivity is also 'Waiting' not Godot.
                                                  Thank You.

To The Light House

Thinking Activity:-

1) To the light house we also come to know about her stream of consciousness technique. The structure of the external objective events is diminished in scope and scale. In this novel character's consciousness and shower of impressions. She expressed her pain and struggle by this work.

2) Mrs. Ramsay's character in Mrs ramasy is both are critique and Tribute. She is tribute for her family, she is caring, kind and Nobel for her family. mrs.Ramasy also give tribute of lily's painting.

4)  Two myths used in the Novel interpretation of this windows bring freshness and it's like enter new air in our Life. It's shows that way to people take right decision in To The Light House. It's stands for positive attitude in this novel.

6) Mrs. Ramasy protagonist of the novel. We can see that Virginia Woolf expressed her character lily's and her mother represent character of Mrs. Ramasy.

8) In the last line , she thought that completing painting with she was done her work and she feel like Mrs. Ramasy alive in this painting. It's shown her qualities end of the novel lines express that she accept Mrs.ramasy of living life. She want to came out from her suffering.

                                                  Thank You.

Modern Poems

Interpretation of Modern Poems:

1) The Embankment
Once, in finesse of fiddles found I ecstasy,
In a flash of gold heels on the hard pavement.
Now see I
That warmth’s the very stuff of poesy.
Oh, God, make small
The old star-eaten blanket of the sky,
That I may fold it round me and in comfort lie.
➨In the poem ''Embankment' means it's one kind of area who known for homeless people sleeping on the streets and rough area, it's presented the poverty and what's condition of that era and time by this poem, that warmth is what really matters and is what poets should be said about this poem. It is symbolizes fact that the usually seen only at night with the stars. Warmth is not only desired but it's needed for us to live.
2) Darkness
I stop to watch a star shine in the bog-hole
A star no longer, but a silver ribbon of light.
I look at it, and pass on.
➨Darkness, it's symbolized harsh reality of life and society and many more things. Here poet talk about elements of some things which is lights and sparkle but someone's else support and through their lights means power but it's Life no longer
But who is support it's neither gold but he said silver ribbon means it's also presented harshness and something wrong but goodness always be there, and its going on.

3) Image

 Forsaken lovers,

Burning to a chaste white moon,
Upon strange pyres of loneliness and drought.

In this poem talking about lovers and symbol is white moon. It's shown desires of lovers when moon come oyt it burns lovers they can't meet, their lonlonessl is theee though they are together. Another side we can see thau the condition of modern time and aspects of people, when they are in crowd  but they are alone.

4) In a station of the metro
The apparition of these faces in the crowd;
Petals on a wet, black bough.
➨ In this poem poet trying to get us his perspective word from apparition suggests the faces are becoming visible suddenly just as fast but it's not really faces they shown dual personality and also ever in a crowded subway we are not known with them this phenomenon.'A bough' word means big tree branch in that meaning it's always wet and black.

5) The Pool

Are you alive?
I touch you.
You quiver like a sea-fish.
I cover you with my net.
What are you—banded one?
➨ In this poem deeper meaning in the lines. It's imagery create image in readers mind figures of cast. The mention of the sea and net together evoke feelings of being trapped under the conventions of society and the conflicted thoughts that come with the traditional rules women play as a Wife, Friend , lover and human being but here the net implies a lack of freedom.

6) Insouciance

and out of the dreary trenches,
Trudging cheerily under the stars,
I make for myself little poems
Delicate as a flock of doves.
They fly away like white-winged doves.
➨Richard Aldington written a poem year after the First world war ended, he describes life in the trenches and how poetry kept him alive and happy. It's light hearted when compared with modern ideals of war poetry.

7) Morning at the Window

➨ The poem is a set of images of poverty and in the morning the poor people are making a sound by plates for breakfast. It's obligation for poor people to go work and till late. It's symbolize poverty and the objectives make the poem an imagist poem.

8) The Red Wheelbarrow

➨ This poem must rely heavily on its visual imagery. The poem merely flippant or perhaps, the poet intends only entertain through images to red and white painting as we read. Poem's one metaphor the wheelbarrow is described as glazed with rainwater that is shinning with a suggestion of hardness.

9) Anecdote of the jar

I placed a jar in Tennessee,
And round it was, upon a hill.
It made the slovenly wilderness
Surround that hill.

The wilderness rose up to it,
And sprawled around, no longer wild.
The jar was round upon the ground
And tall and of a port in air.

It took dominion everywhere.
The jar was gray and bare.
It did not give of bird or bush,
Like nothing else in Tennessee.

➨ In this poem jar a symbol of civilization and a particular relation between the humanity and nature. It's discriminant open to many various interpretations. It's almost playful feel which is so typical in this way , and nothing liked better than to have his poetry resist the intelligence. In this poem we are left to wonder and all that is man made Which attend against the nature.

10) I
.....A leaf falls on Loneliness....
➨The poem becomes deep and large meaning than the line of the poem...a leaf falls on loneliness... Fall of leaf symbolize the death and it's full stop upon the loneliness and suffering of the life, which is for the Human on that way. In this poem very depth real and hidden meaning of life and poet Very well written in one line a harsh reality of every humans life and also possession.

The Waste Land

The waste land thinking activity:-

1) What are your views on the following image after reading 'The Waste Land'? Do you think that Eliot is regressive as compared to Nietzche's views? or Has Eliot achieved universality of thought by recalling mytho-historical answer to the contemporary malaise?
➨ Nietzsche's ideas about progressive way to looking at the society and humanty it's connected to religion, tradition and faith in karma and Eliot's views compared to Nietzsche's ideas it's regressive. In the theme of universality. In all that respect, the present is resembles the past and in the past suffering and penance resulted in spiritual health because our roots also connected to the past and followed myth.

2) Prior to the speech, Gustaf Hellström of the Swedish Academy made these remarks:
T.S. Eliot and S. Freud
What are your views regarding these comments? Is it true that giving free vent to the repressed 'primitive instinct' lead us to happy and satisfied life? or do you agree with Eliot's view that 'salvation of man lies in the preservation of the cultural tradition'?
➨ By Eliot's views in the " Salvation of Man lies in the preservation of the culture tradtion" culture who different humans from animals and other things. Everyone have their rules and restrictions from their society. In that way freud believed in collective and individual balance.

3) Write about allusions to the Indian thoughts in 'The Waste Land'. (Where, How and Why are the Indian thoughts referred?)
➨ Indian thoughts in "The waste Land" in this criteria, In the UPNISHAD, Lord Vishnu has given the concept of demons the Human being and 'DA' concept.
Damyata having control over our sense as the gods tempted get addicted to enjoyment and sensory pleasures.(Self Control)
Dayadhvam being compassionate it's demons tempted to use and their bodily desires.(Pity and Sympathy)
Datta being charitable human beings use tempted to living a life.( To be Giver)
